At the center of this work is the Virginia creeper — a plant of remarkable symbolism. In ancient Greece, wreaths of its leaves were given to newlyweds as a sign of fidelity and the enduring nature of life. It was this dimension of nature’s spiritual presence that I sought to capture — the silence that falls after rain, and the leaves that seem to whisper a story of permanence.
